The Kudzu Witch (Poem)

In the backyard,
by the ditch;
spy real hard
for the kudzu witch.

Her guise
and personality,
before your eyes
shift constantly.

Among the vines,
so thick and green;
you can find
almost anything.

A dinosaur
stomping around,
from ancient lore
a fairy mound.

A bird in flight,
an empire of grass,
an elven wight,
a swirling mass.

A spider's web,
children at play,
the ocean's ebb,
the land of Fey.

But should you see
her true face,
cursed you'll be
to take her place!
